Arjun Vagale (born 23 October 1978) is an Indian Electronic Music producer.
Vagale was born in New Delhi. Vagale was awarded in 2011-2012 "Best Techno DJ/DJ of the Year" and came top of the first ever DJ Mag India
Vagale was influenced by music at very early age. His father bought a grand piano, and he tried to learn to play but wasn't very successful. His father was in the hotel business which resulted in the family moving and traveling a lot. At the age of 13, Vagale visited his first night club "Ghungroo" in ITC Maurya Sheraton and saw Sunny Sarid perform. This was the first time Arjun saw and experienced a console and gig for real.
Vagale's infatuation with music lead him to cut copy and paste tapes from cassettes to make his own sounds and grooves. By age 15 Vagale had started doing small private events and gigs. A year later he and three others formed a trio DJ group known as DJ Fac3.
Vagale has played along with many heavyweight artists such as fat Boy Slim, Fergie, Nic Fanciulli, Cari Lekebusch, Apparat and Sasha. In 2010 he released "Kill the String" on ALiVE Recordings, which propelled his solo production career. Releases on Fergie's Excentric Muzik followed.
In his spare time, Vagale runs MakTub Music, where he indulges in his other passion: discovering and promoting fresh talent. He supports the same through his Indian electronic music school, The I Love Music (ILM) Academy, and is the co-owner of UnMute Agency.
I Love Music Academy:
In April 2012, Arjun Vagale brought I Love Music Academy to Delhi-ncr. Being a lead figure in the Electronic Music scene in India he motivates young aspirants and nurtures talent through the academy.
Jalebee Cartel is made up of four members, Arjun Vagale (laptop, mixing, electronics), Ash Roy (vocals and percussions), Ashvin Mani Sharma (laptop and synths) and G-force Arjun (bass guitar).
