Early Career Breakthroughs
In 2010 Arika Kane released her self-titled Album, which became an international Hit. With songs like “Here With Me“, “4 The Lovers”, “B’cuz I Luv U” and “Make It. all of which were featured on various VH1, BET and MTV Programing. Kane’s songs debuted and had multiple successes on the Billboard Sales, Airplay and Hot 100 Charts. With some 70 plus Synchronization licensing placements with the Viacom network of stations, her pop hit “Make It” was penned as the Theme song for VH1’s Hit Reality TV series Hollywood Exes and Atlanta Exes for multiple seasons, thus making Arika Kane and her music a staple within the TV world.
Hip Hop Weekly Magazine wrote, “Arika’s album delivers a complete composition that resonates with true music fans”. CD Baby named Arika Kane as “One of the hottest, new and upcoming artist to hit the music scene”. The Media Base Charts declared Arika Kane as the #1 Independent Artist in the country for 20 weeks straight.
Coming off a very successful debut Album release and building momentum within the music world, Kane released her sophomore album “Substance” a perfect follow up to the self- titled album Arika Kane.
Digging down deep and from within, Arika produced an array of songs with meaning and purpose and once again struck pay dirt garnering success and many more Synchronization placements with MTV, VH1 and Insider, from shows such as “What Chili Wants” “Love and Hip Hop” and “Single Ladies”. “Waiting” a fan favorite from Substance was the #1 U.S. best seller in soul for over 20 weeks.
In late 2014, Arika released her much-anticipated 3rd Album “Thru The Veil” with features from singing legend Brian McKnight and Hip Hop Icons Grand Puba and Jean Grae. It has become Arika Kane’s most successful Album to date charting very scoring #1 best-selling R&B Album in the USA and #3 best-selling Pop Album in the States, with high lighting songs “Can’t Get Enough”, “Live From Your Heart” and “Liberated” which also reached the #1 best-selling R&B song in the U.S. along with most of her single releases from the album.
“It’s There” featuring Brian McKnight charted in Billboards Top 10 Hot Single Sales Chart, peaking at #8 along with being awarded the #1 best written R&B song of 2015 in the USA Song Writing Competition and was the 3rd place winner overall. Arika Kane has performed at many renowned venues including the legendary BB Kings NYC, Toads Place in Connecticut, Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar NYC. Kane’s worldwide fan base embraces her completely and is her foundation. The rock she can stand on. Kane has also toured the Southern States and shared the stage with some of the very best artists in the business such as Babyface, Charlie Wilson, Frankie Beverly & Maze and Faith Evans.
