About Ankit Love
Being a filmmaker as well as an artist he directs and makes his own music videos, and one of his short films Whale! premiered at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. His epic music video Beethoven Burst was in 2012 on MTV and the VH1 fresh new music playlist.
Ankit Love lived in New Delhi, India till he was six years old when he moved to the United Kingdom. While attending the ACS Cobham International School, Love was elected by the student body as President. During his term as President, Love received the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Award for his social and charitable works. After completing his studies in the UK, he attend a mediation camp near Chennai, India. That experience would later impact the spiritual nature of his works. He then relocated to California to study acting at the California Institute of the Arts. At CalArts he lived with experimental and avant-garde artists and musicians. While in California, Love survived a near fatal car crash in a Dodge Viper at a 160 miles per hour on a Los Angeles freeway; undeterred he went on to become a race car driver. After also studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in West Hollywood, Love in 2006, returned to London and completed the prestigious Shakespeare program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he played the part of Tybalt in a production of Romeo and Juliet at the George Bernard Shaw Theatre in the West End.
From 2006 to 2008 as a race car driver, Ankit Love competed in Formula Vee and Formula Ford racing at circuits such as Brands Hatch and Silverstone.
Love is the co-founder and was the editor-in-chief of Mist magazine for its first three issues. In 2013, he had conceived the magazine's concept as a fashion and science publication for the metamodern age. He directed and musically scored the commercial video for Mist Magazine that went on to receive over 5 million views on YouTube. He is also co-founder of BRIC magazine a publication focused on business, arts and culture from Brazil, Russia, India and China.
