Adam day is an interfaith event held annually on 10 August in various cities of United Kingdom as well as Canada. The event is held to commemorate the birth of Adam, the common ancestor of all human beings. The first Adam day was celebrated in 2003 by Azeemia Foundation in United Kingdom, which is the UK branch of the Pakistan-based Azeemia Sufi order .
Adam day has increasingly become a prominent interfaith event attracting participants from local communities as well as other interfaith forums such as the The Muslim Jewish Forum of Greater Manchester. Religious and community leaders are called upon to give a perspective from their faith regarding interfaith harmony and peace.
The hallmark of the event is the message of peace from Khwaja Shamsuddin Azeemi, the current patriarch of the Azeemia Sufi Order.
