About A New Way to Live Forever
After the release of the well-received debut EP “Avalanche” in October of 2008, the band went on indefinite hiatus while members pursued other projects. Fast-forward to 2011, and a new shape of the group emerged in force. With original founder Russ Rogers helming the majority of the writing and vocal duties, the latest incarnation has James Coyle (guitar), Phil Tucciarone (drums), Steve Velez (bass), and Daniel Dyer (Keyboards), joining to deliver a meaningful dose of hook-laden, soulful rock. Listeners can expect a driving, melancholic blend of influences akin to luminaries like Lenny Kravitz, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, and Prince. Also re-joining in a writing and part-time performance capacity is original co-founder/guitarist, Todd Evans.
Now with their new EP, Rumoura (2012) and support of their label Civil Defense. The basic tracking for Rumoura was done in Deerfield Beach, FL by Jeremy Staska (Nonpoint, New Found Glory), with final mixing will taking place in Spring 2012 Los Angeles, CA with Civil Defense’s veteran producer and engineer, Ed Goodreau.
